SCREEN and INTERVENE NOW, Reducing the Impact of Malnutrition in your Patients

This online 2022 Continuing Education Program was created by the Canadian Malnutrition Task Force and Canadian Nutrition Society in collaboration with MD BriefCase Group Inc, see here. Aimed at Family MDs and healthcare professionals, this program reviewed the impact of malnutrition and frailty, evidence-based recommendations for managing malnutrition,  and featured questions answered by Dr. Leah Gramlich.

Upon completion of this continuing education program participants will be better able to:

  • Review the impact of malnutrition and frailty in older adults
  • Discuss potential barriers and facilitators for managing malnutrition in primary care
  • Discuss the evidence-based recommendations for the management of malnutrition
  • Screen an older adult for malnutrition with recommended tools
